One of the six purposes of Chi Omega that the Delta Kappa Chapter puts an extreme amount of commitment to is community service.  Along with the time and effort put into raising money for our philanthropy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, our chapter here at UNC Charlotte is known for how much we give back to the Charlotte community.

This semester our sisters have had a blast participating together in community involvement through restocking shelves and cleaning dishes at the Jamil Niner student food pantry on campus, road clean ups, blood drives, and more.  Events such as these bring our sisters closer together and bring many different and new opportunities to the table.  Our sisters also participate in many activities to give back on their own time including volunteering abroad, local elementary schools, and local animal shelters.  Being in Chi Omega has taught so many of our sisters to not only feel good about giving back to the community, but also how to have fun while doing so!
